She has significant experience in advising clients on real estate development related matters, including advising on foreign direct investment (FDI) into real estate development projects in India.
She has been engaged in undertaking land audits, undertaking title and encumbrance due diligences and providing land title and encumbrance related opinions, providing all legal support for large scale real estate, integrated township development, etc., including drafting, negotiating documentation, conveyance related documents, project development agreements, financing documentation, advising on consents / land approvals / usage conversion related matters etc. She has also been advising clients on setting up of funds with real estate focus.
She has significant experience in representing all of the various parties involved in real estate transactions, including lenders, borrowers, sellers, buyers, developers, investors, general partners, limited partners, landlords and tenants. She provides advice and assistance in lease negotiations, drafting lease documents, stamp duty issues, registration related matters etc.
With the current liberalized FDI regime in the real estate sector, she has been involved in several large real estate development projects.
